Women power soars high: Air India flies with all-women crew, creates history
An Indian airline, Air India made its round the world journey with all-women crew from Delhi to San Francisco, claiming to be the first airline to do so.

Along with female pilots and cabin crew, the ground staff, including bag handlers, air traffic controllers and engineers were all women.
Applied for Guinness Book of World Records
Air India says it has applied for an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records and added that it is planning to mark Women's Day on Mar 8.
About the flight
Covering around 15,300km, the Boeing 777 flew over the Pacific Ocean on its trip to the US, while its return flight was over the Atlantic, encircling the globe.
Female-only seats to its flights
This isn't the first time, Air India had earlier introduced women-only seats on its domestic flights to give female passengers more choice and comfort.
