Dreaded militant Lashkari, two civilians killed in Anantnag encounter in J&K
The militants are using the civilians as human shield, says police
The security forces have gunned down Lashkar-e-Tayiba's area commander Bashir Lashkari and his associate Azad Malik at Anantnag in Jammu and Kashmir. The two terrorists were killed following several hours of stand off which was disrupted by locals pelting stones.
2 civilians were also killed in cross-firing and four others suffered bullet injuries in cross-firing between security forces and militants on Saturday at Dailgam village in Anantnag district, Kashmir.

SP Vaid, DGP J&K, congratulated police and security forces for carrying out encounter of Bashir Lashkari who was involved in martyring of 6 policemen.
After receiving a specific information regarding presence of militants security forces laid a cordon in the wee hours.
While the cordon was being laid some militants opened fired upon the security personnel which was retaliated. In the cross firing one woman succumbed due to injuries, police said. The injured civilians have been shifted to hospital.
IGP Kashmir Munir Khan, said all 17 civilian inmates have been evacuated from the enounter site.
