New Delhi, Nov 4: The woman employee, who has accused TERI chief RK Pachauri of sexually harassing her, on Wednesday quit from the organisation accusing it of treating her "in the worst possible manner" and "failing to uphold her interests as an employee."

As per a NDTV report, in her resignation letter, the 29-year-old complainant alleged mental torture and said, "Your organisation has treated me in the worst possible manner. The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) failed to uphold my interests as an employee, let alone protecting them."

The woman added her work profile was changed despite her requests.

"I was given ZERO EXPLANATION of taking such an action and none of my emails/requests were heeded to. I only got vague responses.

I refuse to be associated with an organisation such as yours for the way you have mistreated me, for not standing by the law, for not having respect for my capabilities, for doing NOTHING to ensure that my career is not harmed and instead harmed me mentally, professionally and economically," she further added.

Earlier in September, the complainant (a research analyst) moved a fresh application in Delhi High Court seeking Pachauri's immediate removal from office.

The woman, in her plea before a bench of Chief Justice G Rohini and Justice Jayant Nath, also sought that TERI be directed "not (to) further victimise her by terminating her services under any circumstances whatsoever during pendency of the cases".

Pachauri is currently on bail in the case. He was recently allowed by a Delhi court to travel to Kazakhstan for a conference on climate change.

A case of sexual harassment was registered against Pachauri, a Nobel peace prize recipient, on February 13 this year.
