Witness the rare show in the sky: Jupiter, Venus to create magic tonight
New Delhi, June 30: Finally the day has arrived when rare of rarest show will be performed in the sky. Jupiter and Venus will come very close tonight (Tuesday, June 30, 2015).
NASA website earlier had informed that on June 30, 2015, difference between Venus and Jupiter will be 1/3rd of a degree, which is "less than the diameter of a full Moon".
NASA in it website also had mentioned that every night in June, "separation between Venus and Jupiter will visibly shrink."
The notice on the website read, "On June 18, the difference between the two planets will be only 6 degrees and on June 19, the Moon will join the show. According to NASA, the Moon, Venus and Jupiter will form a a bright isosceles triangle in the sunset sky."
NASA advised its followers to look out in the west after sunset. People can easily watch the magic on the sky if they use a telescope because that is the best way of catching this rare sky show.
