Weather forecast for November 5: Chennai rains to stay for next 48 hours

Moderate to heavy rains are expected over coastal parts of Tamil Nadu, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Andaman and Nicobar islands. Here is the weather forecast for Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai for November 5.

Bengaluru:
Bengalureans woke up to cloudy conditions today. Thereafter, light to moderate rains was witnessed in some parts of the city. Meanwhile, the garden city may witness cloudy conditions on November 5. However, the maximum temperature will be recorded around 26 degree Celsius and humidity will be around 81 percent.

Delhi:
Delhiites woke up to a light haze, however, covered parts of the city in the morning, indicated that the winter is setting in. However, sunny weather activity is likely expected in the national capital on November 5. Meanwhile, the maximum temperature will be recorded around 31 degree Celsius and humidity will be around 55 percent.

Hyderabad:
Moderate to heavy rains are expected over coastal parts of Tamil Nadu, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Andaman and Nicobar islands. The city of Nizams will witness mostly sunny weather activity on November 5. However, the maximum temperature will be recorded around 31 degree Celsius and humidity around 63 percent.

Mumbai:
The city of dreams will witness sunny weather on November 5. Meanwhile, the maximum temperature will be recorded around 34 degree Celsius and humidity around 40 percent.

Chennai:
Heavy showers are expected to take a slight break as morning and afternoon will be slightly better in terms of rain. However, evening onward, rainfall activity is expected to pick up the pace. According to Skymet weather, the reason for the non-stop rainfall over the capital city of Tamil Nadu can be attributed to the low-pressure area which is over Sri Lanka and adjoining Coast. However, heavy rainfall is expected to continue over Chennai and its adjoining areas for at least two to three days. Meanwhile, the minimum temperatures will settle around 29 degrees but as the day progresses, rainy weather will take over.
