Watch: How a security guard foils ATM robbery bid despite hammer attacks in Goa
In a nerve-wrecking robbery attempt caught on CCTV, an ATM security guard foiled a loot attempt even after being hit on the head multiple ties with a hammer. The entire incident happened in a Bank of Maharashtra ATM in Goa's Panjim city.

In the 40-second long video shows, a masked man entering the ATM with a hammer and injured the security guard severely by hitting him multiple times. Even with a bleeding head, the guard manages to remove the mask from the robber and tried his best to nab the robber. After being hit several times, the guard fell down on the floor and the robber managed to escaped from the spot.
The security guard as been identified as Ranu Singh who risked his life and foiled ATM robbery attempt.
Meanwhile, a complaint has been registered in the Panjim Police Station against the unidentified robber. Panjim police is now scrutinising the CCTV footage the video.
