Virbhadra Singh DA case: Special CBI court adjourns hearing to Nov 30
During the previous hearing, the special court directed the CBI to hand over certain documents to Virbhadra Singh in connection with nearly-₹10 crore DA case.
A Special CBI Court on Tuesday adjourned the hearing on Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virabhadra Singh's exemption plea to 30th November.
The CBI court was hearing Virbhadhra Singh's disproportionate assets matter.
During the hearing, the special court had directed the CBI to hand over certain documents to Virbhadra Singh in connection with nearly-₹10 crore DA case.
The court's direction came after Virbhadra, his wife Pratibha Singh and others told the court that they have not received various documents filed along with the charge sheet.
In a setback to the Congress leader ahead of the assembly polls, last week, the Supreme Court dismissed Virbhadra Singh's plea to quash the case registered by the CBI against him and his wife.
Earlier on May 29, the court granted bail to all accused including Virbhadra Singh and his wife in the matter.
