Shocking Sting Operation: Now, Vijay Mallya dragged into IPL scandal
News TV channel -- Zee TV conducted a sting operation on Vindu Dara Singh who earlier was arrested over his alleged role in the spot fixing row. According to Singh, Indian Premier League (IPL) is " 100 per cent fixed".
Speaking about Mallya and his alleged role in IPL betting, Singh was quoted as saying, "Barring Vijay Mallya nobody knows anything. Mallya is himself involved in betting, he earns 100-200 crores in IPL."

Now, with the latest allegations against the tycoon, Mallya may land in another trouble as he has been facing criticism for not paying due salaries of the employees of his airline -- Kingfisher Airlines (KFA). [Read: IPL is 100 per cent fixed]
Singh also claimed that controversy over IPL spot fixing was nothing but a duel between BCCI chief N Srinivasan and for IPL chief Lalit Modi who has been backed by former BCCI chief Sharad Pawar.
During the sting operation, Singh was seen saying, "This entire case is actually a tussle between Modi and Srinivasan. We have nothing to do with it. Lalit Modi just needed a chance to get Srinivasan out."
Meiyappan, son-in-law of Srinivasan and reported Team Principal of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has been charge-sheeted in the IPL spot fixing case. Kundra, the owner of Rajasthan Royals (RR) also were questioned by the investigative agency.
