Probably that had upset the leader when he lost his cool suddenly after answering a few questions by the Times Now reporter cool-headedly.
ASked what he thought about his rejection from BJP, he said that he was not in a position to answer as it was the party's choice not to take him. The fact that Ananthakumar strongly opposed his membership also did not upset him as he said,"I am a simple man who is leading a movement and am not into political games. I am yet to know who is behind it."
The last question by the reporter saw Muthalik losing his patience when he was asked whether he regretted the 2009 Mangalore pub attack.
"Who are you to dig an old story? You are making it big and no one else is. What has happened has happened in 2009, People have forgotten it and you are scratching the wound. Don't put oil into the fire," Muthalik shouted.
As the situation was getting out of control, one of the followers came forward to pacify the situation, but also reprimanded the reporter for dragging Muthalik into the matter. He said,"Muthalik has already paid the price for it. He was in jail for 15 days, even though he was not involved in it directly. He should now be left alone."
