Lucknow, Feb 2: Post the'feud', Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav has kept everyone guessing. He says that he is not happy about the alliance that his son and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh entered into with the Congress. While the SP, led by Akhilesh says that they would fight the elections under the name of Netaji, the Rashtriya Lok Dal on the other hand is trying to rope in the veteran leader.

The RLD which did not enter into an alliance with the SP has now requested Mulayam to campaign for them during the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections 2017. The RLD has already gone a step forward and put up posters with Mulayam in it.
Most of the RLD campaign banners don the picture of Mulayam. In addition to this, several RLD leaders have been requesting Netaji to campaign for them. Mulayam has however kept his cards close to his chest and not made any commitment as yet.
The RLD has already offered Mulayam the party's symbol and post of national president. The party says that based on the directives by Mulayam, many are joining the RLD. Most of these leaders close to Mulayam and Shivpal Yadav, would prefer to contest on an RLD ticket instead as independent candidates.
