Trouble for ‘godwoman’ Radhe Maa as Punjab HC orders FIR
The Punjab and Haryana Court has directed the Punjab Police to file a FIR against self-styled God woman Radhe Maa.
The court order came after a plea which was filed by Phagwara resident Surender Mittal. Mittal had approached court alleging that Radhe Maa had constantly been threatening him not to speak against her.
The Patrika report claimed that considering the serious nature of the case, the Punjab and Haryana High Court directed the Punjab Police to file an FIR against the accused.
It also stated that the Court also rapped the police for lack of an investigation into the matter, even after complaints being lodged.
The Court sought a response from the police in this regard before November 13 and said the police needs to decide if the matter is criminal or not.
She was also booked under obscenity and cheating when videos of her being carryied around during satsangs surfaced in 2015.
