Tripura elections 2018: BJP will comfortably win, form government in the state, says Amit Shah
In less than a week Tripura goes into polls for an election that is probably going to be the most important one since 1988, BJP president Amit Shah said that BJP will comfortably win and for the first time it will form government in the state.
Addressing a gathering, Shah said,''Next government in Tripura will be of the BJP. There is anger against the CPIM govt throughout the state, because of their misrule Tripura stands last, when it comes to development.''
Accusing CPI(M) government of fomenting violence in the state, Shah said,''On of our booth workers was abducted, for two days he was untraceable, after our workers pressurised the DGP we got to know that he was killed and hanged from a tree, by CPIM cadre. Authorities here work under CPIM's pressure.''
''CPM is doing what it usually does, using violence. Police also works on CPM's directions. Tripura has the highest number of complaints against women,'' the BJP chief said.
The BJP chief made several promises, including one degree College in each constituency of Tripura. ''Free health scheme will be given to people in Tripura. The most important promise is that party politics will not play any role in Tripura,'' BJP President Amit Shah in Agartala.
Shah also promised employment of at least one person from each household in Tripura.
