Triple murder case: Former RJD MP Shahabuddin acquitted by Jamshedpur court
Mohammad Shahabuddin was involved in connection with murders of Anand Rao, Janardan Choubey and Pradeep Mishra on February 2, 1989, near Tata Steel Power house in Jugasalai police station area.
A court in Jamshedpur acquitted Mohammad Shahabuddin in 25-year-old triple murder case on Monday.
Mohammad Shahabuddin was involved in connection with murders of Anand Rao, Janardan Choubey and Pradeep Mishra on February 2, 1989, near Tata Steel Power house in Jugasalai police station area.
Shahabuddin is currently lodged in Tihar jail. The Supreme Court on 15 February ordered shifting of Shahabuddin, who is facing trial in 45 criminal cases, from Siwan jail in Bihar to Tihar jail in New Delhi.
Earlier, Shahabuddin, who was granted bail by the Patna high court on September 7, was released from Bhagalpur jail on September 10. He was in jail for 11 years in connection with dozens of cases against him.
