New Delhi, Nov 1: Yes, enough of Pakistan, the "enemy nation", let's create a new country. How about Pulkistan? It has a hint of Pakistan, so we won't miss punching our neighbouring country occasionally.

Now, if you are wondering who is the "father of Pakistan", then meet Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Navin Kumar Singh, who while singing the Vande Mataram on national television recently, came up with this unique word, Pulkistan (Singh must be suffering from Pakistan mania, so every word he says has to start with a 'P' and end with a 'stan').

vande mataram

The entire episode that resulted in the "creation" of Pulkistan is not only interesting, but involves national security (after all, we are talking about Pakistan, sorry, Pulkistan).

The "farce" surrounding the entire situation is the best 'ROFL moment' the "nation" (as news anchor Arnab Goswami screams) has witnessed in a long time.

During a television debate on the "compulsory singing of Vande Mataram in schools across the country" on October 28, Singh, who like the rest of the saffron brigade wants that everyone should sing Vande Mataram to prove their patriotism, was challenged by All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) member Mufti Ejaz Arshad Qasmi to sing the Sanskrit song himself.

It was then that the entire BJP's bluff was exposed, that too on TV.

Singh struggled to sing the song, he and his party love and regard so much. In fact, Singh asked Qasmi to accompany him while he attempted Vande Mataram. The BJP spokesperson also took the help of his smartphone to get the lyrics of the song right.

However, Singh proved that he is not only a very bad singer with a hoarse throat, but he does not even remember the lyrics of BJP's favourite song. Little shameful, isn't it for the entire saffron party?

Singh mispronounced the phrase "Pulakit Yaaminiim" as "Pulkistan".

Listen to Singh singing the song:

Thus resulted in the birth of new "viral" word "Pulkistan", because the right wing groups want the entire nation to sing Vande Mataram and members of Muslim groups have opposition to its imposition as it is against their religion to sing a song that compares India with a goddess. According to Islam there is only one true god.

Now, coming back to Pulkistan, as soon as the BJP leader uttered the word, audiences watching him on TV broke into a crazy bout of laughter. The word also broke the internet, literally.

From creation of jokes to memes, Pulkistan has dedicated fans, who are ready to do anything for the 'new nation'.

Here we bring you some tweets that highlight the insane proportion to which the BJP can go to insist on imposition of anything and everything remotely connected to Hinduism:
