In yet another controversial remark, Union Minister Giriraj Singh has said that those opposing Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the NDA are the same who supported Osama Bin Laden and the Maoists.

"Whole country saw how political people were against Narendra Modi. These are the same people who supported Osama Bin Laden and who support the Maoists. None of them have the courage to stand against the development of Modi," News 18 quoted Singh as saying.

Earlier this morning, Singh had tweeted that 'Osamawadi, Maowadi, Castists and feudals have unined against the NDA', adding, "Riding on the wave of development, NDA will triumph in 2019."

BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra had earlier, in a tweet, tried to liken the oppostion with Mumbai terror attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed. Patra has tweeted that only 'Mahagathbandhan' and Hafiz Saeed want to stop PM Modi.

"Off course this is not a comparison!Modi Ji's attack on Black Money and corruption is getting the opposition in India on one page while His attack on terrorism & Surgical Strike is pushing Hafeez Sayed to desperation! This proves that the Modi government is moving the right way!" Patra had tweeted.

With less than a year left for the 2019 General Elections, the BJP and opposition are engaging in a word of words almost on a daily basis. Where on one hand the opposition is trying to stitch a formidable anti-BJP front, the saffron party is making statements that they are unperturbed by it.
