ST morcha to utilise festivals and specials dates to reach out to STs to before polls
New Delhi, July 27: Scheduled Tribe (ST) morcha of the Bharatiya Janata Party has been asked that preparation should be made in advance from the point of view of next Lok Sabha election and to strengthen organizational set up.
The meeting to be organised on July 28-29 at the Delhi office of the BJP is for deciding morcha's role to ensure preparations for forthcoming elections in four states - Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh and Mizoram. The meeting will be attended by the party leadership.
The BJP sources said that SC morcha has been asked to organize special festivals and programmes on the important dates related to tribals to utilize the opportunity for better result of reaching out to them.
All the workers of the scheduled tribe morcha have been requested to download Namo App, appointment of booth convenor and formation of social media team in state, districts, mandal and booth level. All this will be presented before the party president Amit Shan, general secretary (Organisation) Ram Lal and national convenor Bhagwat Sharan Mathur during two day convention July 28 and July 29.
The BJP sources said that agenda of the meeting included that public opinion about public welfare schemes about the central government and feedback must be brought to be discussed in the meeting.
All the state president must bring in list and every detail about district, mandal and booth committee. The information is also sought for MPs, MLAs, MLCs, district panchayat presidenst, vice-chairman and member, municipal body chairman, vice chairman and member, municipal committee chairman, vice chairman and member, mayor and deputy mayor of municipal corporation, nagar panchayat chairman-vice-member, member of agriculture mandi board chairman-vice chairman, district cooperative bank and vice president-member of cooperative societies.
Before the meeting the morcha has to complete appointment of booth convenors, formation of social media team in the states, districts, mandal and booth level. Scheduled Tribe Morcha general secretary in his letter to morcha workers wrote, "All of you are requested to suggest the important subject matter of the political resolution in the said meeting."
