Sriramulu performs 'gau pooja', EVM placed as per 'Vaastu Shastra'

The BJP candidate B Sriramulu performed 'gau pooja' (cow worship) before casting his vote. Sriramalu is pitted against Siddaramaiah in Badami. Sriramalu's appearance and attire changed drastically today. Usually seen in kurta, Sriramalu was seen in saffron loincloth. The Karnataka Chief Minister is locking horns with B. Sriramulu of the BJP.
According to reports, the wife of JD(S) candidate G T Deve Gowda in Chamundeshwari (from where CM Siddaramaiah is contesting polls) forced election personnel to shift the EVM machine to a "better place" due to 'Vaastu Shastra'.
Earlier, BJP CM candidate BS Yeddyurappa visited temple in Shikarpuri ahead of the assembly polls in Karnataka. Yeddyurappa is well known for his devotional and god-fearing nature, offered prayers at his residence also before visiting the temple.
