Smog continues in Delhi, 40 trains delayed

The toxic smog continued to envelope national capital on Friday morning, with reduced visibility in some areas leading to a cancellation of trains in the city.

At least 40 trains were delayed and 13 rescheduled and six cancelled due to poor visibility.

According to latest AQI data, Delhi's Mandir Marg recorded 333, Dwarka stood at 332 both 'Hazardous', Siri Fort at 288, Punjabi Bagh at 290 both fell in 'Very Unhealthy' category.

Delhi has been experiencing dense smog for about a week, forcing authorities to enforce emergency measures such as banning construction activities and brick kilns in the National Capital Region.
