Sisodia, Shastri to get coveted posts, Rakhi Birla may not get a Cabinet berth in new AAP Govt
New Delhi, Feb 11: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal will take oath as Delhi's Chief Minister on Feb 14, Saturday, along with his cabinet ministers in which the party has even invited PM Narendra Modi.
If reports are to be believed, then newly-elected MLAs like Manish Sisodia, Jarnail Singh, Adarsh Shastri and Gopal Rai will be inducted in Kejriwal's cabinet.
Bidlan contested from Mangol Puri constituency in West Delhi and defeated Congress' Raj Kumar Chauhan by 22,699 votes.
Rakhi Birla, who was the youngest minister in the Arvind Kejriwal's 49-day government, was fielded from the North West Delhi constituency during Lok Sabha polls.
A day after decimating the BJP in the Delhi Assembly election, AAP on Wednesday said that Arvind Kejriwal was keen on inviting Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his swearing-in ceremony.
AAP said that Kejriwal sought an appointment with PM Modi in order to invite him to the swearing-in ceremony on Saturday, Feb 14 at Ramlila Maidan.
AAP has won 67 out of 70 assembly seats in Delhi while BJP managed to bag just 3 seats.
