Siddaramaiah tweeted, "Says an ex-jail bird who chose another former jail bird to be his party's CM candidate for our Karnataka election. Can he present facts about the so-called corruption charges against me or my Govt? Just telling lies wont help. People will not believe his jumlas,"

He replied to Amit Shah's tweet quoting his speech in Mysuru on Friday.

On the issue of Mahadayi river water dispute, Siddaramaiah said Amit Shah did not speak on the matter as he was busy in reading out outdated speech about Tipu, corruption

"Not his fault! Nobody told him about Mahadayi. He reads an outdated speech about Tipu, corruption and a fictitious Rs 2 lakh crores that the central Govt supposed to have given us. Amit Shah ravare, next time please read about Mahadayi before coming here."

Meanwhile, after attending Republic Day function in Bengaluru, Siddaramaiah said, "Amit Shah has no brain it seems, he is a brainless man," reported ANI.

Amit Shah has warned that when the BJP government comes to power in Karnataka, murderers of BJP-RSS workers will not be spared. Amit Shah was speaking at 'Parivartana Yatre rally at Maharaja College grounds in Mysore.

"Siddaramaiah government has crossed all boundaries of corruption. In Karnataka, Siddaramaiah means corruption and corruption means Siddaramaiah," Shah said. "BJP has started the 'Parivartana Yatre' for not only to change the government but also to bring change in the lives of youth and to give security to the women of Karnataka," he added.
