Siddaramaiah slaps legal notice on Modi, Shah, demands apology, Rs 100 crore

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has slapped a legal notice on Prime Minister, Narendra Modi over the corruption jibes made at him. The legal notices have also been sent to BJP president, Amit Shah and former chief minister, B S Yeddyurappa.

The CM has claimed that the allegations made against him are false. He is aggrieved with the derogatory advertisements of the BJP against him and the Congress. In the notice he has sought for an apology from Modi, Shah and Yeddyurappa. He has also sought Rs 100 crore in damages.

Earlier Siddaramaiah said that Union Minister, Ananth Kumar Hegde does not believe in social justice. He said that Hegde is unfit to be a gram panchayat leader and the BJP went on to make him a minister. He also referred to Hegde as a 'nalayak.'

He also said that if Narendra Modi tries to change the Constitution, there would be bloodshed in the country. He also criticised Modi for making jibes at the Congress. He said that the PM calls himself Chowkidar. He let Nirav Modi and Vijay Mallya escape. What sort of a Chowkidar is he? He thinks just because he is saying in Hindi, we will not understand. We understand pretty well, Siddaramaiah also said during on a campaign trail.
