Maneka's office contacted OneIndia on Wednesday morning to collect details of the family and its requirement. She was the first person from the government to reach out to the family assuring Mahadevi of a job. Her office was appraised of why a job was important for Koppad who intends to move to Hubballi town to ensure a good education for her daughter.
Like Maneka, many volunteers came forward to extend help to the martyr's widow. Writer Advaita Kala contacted Mahadevi as early as Tuesday evening and managed to opportunities in Hubballi, Mangaluru and Bengaluru. Mahadevi is working for a security firm run by a former armed forces personnel but wants a government job as promised to her by the authorities.
Found her an opportunity in Hubballi or if she likes Mangalore or Bangalore -- now someone needs to connect us. Please help will try as well. https://t.co/P16QuOesEh
