Mini-skirt controversy: Singer Sonu Nigam defends Radhe Maa, here's why
New Delhi, Aug 17: Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam has now supported controversial godwoman Radhe Maa who is facing flak from different quarters.
Now, Godwoman Radhe Maa reveals secret behind her controversial red hot mini skirt
Igniting controversy, renowned singer said that suing self styled godwoman for wearing skimpy clothes is not justified.
"Hindu Goddess Kaali Maa is also depicted in lesser clothes than Radhe Maa", Sonu said on micro blogging website. Not only that, playback singer even raked up the debate of gender inequality on the issue.
"Men Saadhus can walk naked. Dance embarrassingly, but it takes a rape charge to put them behind bars. So much for Gender equality?", he said.

Earlier, giving major relief to Radhe Maa, the Bombay High Court on Friday granted her interim anticipatory bail for two weeks in dowry case. The case was filed by 32 year old woman Nikki Gupta who accused Radhe Maa of instigating her in-laws to torture her for dowry.
Self styled Godwoman, who is considered as one of the popular religious gurus in the country, allegedly performs vulgar dance steps during satsangs (spiritual discourses). Recently, her pictures in red short dresses brought criticism for the "devi".
