RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav hospitalised
New Delhi, Nov 26: Former Bihar chief minister and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav was admitted to the emergency department of AIIMS, Delhi, on Friday, hospital sources said.
The veteran politician is learnt to be suffering from fever and is drowsy. His condition is not serious and is stable. His blood samples have been sent for investigations and reports are awaited, a source said.
Just days ago, Lalu had slammed the BJP government that the decision to repeal farm laws was a defeat to the Centre and the crushing of its arrogance.
Addressing an event organised by the party "6 Tone Lalten," Yadav said, "I congratulate the farmers of the country who struggled for so long and died for the cause. Today they have won and the Central government has lost. Arrogance has been crushed. Until the government declares a guarantee on MSP, the protest will not stop. The labourers will also benefit from this."
He had also warned the Centre that the RJD will protest if the Minimum Support Price is not enacted. PTI
