Two days after Air India lifted the ban on Ravindra Gaikwad, the Shiv Sena MP booked a business class ticket on the airline's flight. Gaikwad had booked tickets from Pune to New Delhi for Monday. For the first time in almost a month, Ravindra Gaikwad was allowed book a flight. After booking the ticket on an Air India flight, the MP, however, chose to go to New Delhi on a Rajdhani express, his office claimed

AirIndia sources claimed that Gaikwad had booked a business class seat in AI 852 from Pune. This is the same flight Gaikwad boarded last month when he lost his cool and hit an Air India staffer "25 times" because he insisted on travelling business class on an all-economy flight.

This time around, however, Air India is careful to give Gaikwad the first class seat that started off the entire fiasco. The summer schedule for Air India started on March 26 as per which Air India is flying the newly acquired A320 neo planes on the Pune-New Delhi route. This aircraft has business class. This time around too, Gaikwad has converted his ticket into an open ticket which allows his flight on the same route on any day.
