Earlier also, his visit was cancelled due to BBMP polls and other reasons.

Rahul's recent visit to the US clashed with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's second visit to the country.

This time to avoid the similar incident, Rahul may have delayed his Karnataka visit, as PM Modi will visit Bengaluru along with the German Chancellor Angela Merkel around same time.

However, the state Congress has claimed that Rahul's visit has been delayed only by two days and he will arrive here on Oct 9 and Oct 10.

Meanwhile, the Congress scion is also set to hit the election campaign in the poll-bound Bihar.

As per the programme so far, Rahul will address at least nine rallies across the length and breadth of Bihar.

Rahul will be holding public meetings on October 7, 26 and 30. He is scheduled to address three rallies everyday.

His public meetings are scheduled in Begusarai, Sheikhpura and Kaimur near Sasaram on October 7, West Champaran, East Champaran and Sitamarhi on October 26 and Kishanganj and Katihar in Seemanchal region on October 30.
