Punjab shocker: 4-year-old boy badly beaten by PT teacher; Smriti Irani steps in
Patiala, Oct 29: In a shocking incident, a four-year-old student was badly beaten by a school teacher in Patiala.
The incident reportedly happened at the New Delhi Public School in Patiala. UKG student Agamjot was thrashed by his PT teacher Ajmer Singh, in front of the school principal.
The little kid, who has just started learning alphabets, was crying as red marks were visible on his cheeks.
The child was so much injured that he had to be taken to a nearby hospital, by his parents.
But, the doctor, who treated him, refused to give a written prescription to his parents, as he did not want to get embroiled himself into any controversy and he also feared losing his job.
Next day of the incident, Agamjot's sister was also punished for no reason. Urban Estate police station also refused to file a case against the school owner, as he has strong political connections.
To seek justice against the kind of brutal treatment meted out to their child, his parents took matter to the social media.

mother

cops.

by

Hosp.
doctor
shown
privately
at
his
clinic.
And
now
the
doctor
has
denied
to
make
prescription
on
letterhead
(as
it
asked
by
police
officers)
because
he
is
afraid
of
losing
his
job.
