Prince William & Kate Middleton in India: A look at their royal itinerary

Mumbai, April 11: The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton, are on their maiden visit to India on a seven-day tour of India aimed at building up strong bonds with the two countries.

The couple aged 33, landed in Mumbai on Sunday, April 11. Both of them had a great time, as they were seen playing charity cricket with the Cricket Legend Sachin Tendulkar during a charity program at Oval Maidan to support underpriviledged children, spent time with school children, visiting the heritage Banganga Tank site and in the evening attended Bollywood theme dinner.

Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge during the wreath laying ceremony on the martyrs memorial at Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai on Sunday.

April 10: Mumbai

April 11: The couple will attend Young Entrepreneurs Event at The Social, a cafe which is also a collaborative workspace for emerging business talents in Mumbai.

April 11: New Delhi

Lay a wreath at India Gate war memorial, attend Gandhi Smriti. Attend a birthday party for The Queen at the residence of the British High Commissioner.

April 12: New Delhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will host a lunch for the royal couple.

April 12: Assam

Meet young people around the campfire and watch dance and music performances.

Attend Kaziranga Discovery Centre

Safari in Kaziranga National Park in Assam

April 14: Thimpu, Bhutan

Travel to Buddhist monastery Thimpu Dzong and watch a traditional welcome procession.

Visit Thimphu's open-air archery venue.

April 15: Thimpu, Bhutan

Hike for up to six hours to Paro Taktsang, the Tiger's Nest monastery.

Attend a reception for British nationals in Bhutan.

April 16: Back in India and Visit to Taj Mahal, Agra, Uttar Pradesh
After having dinner in Agra, the couple will fly back to Delhi in a special flight after which they will take a commercial flight to London.
