The court had harsh words for Vineet Dhanda the advocate/petitioner when he raised his pitch during arguments. The court asked if his arguments were for the galleries and publicity. We are concerned with legal arguments and not emotional appeals. So please make your arguments as per the law, the Bench said.

When the petition came up for hearing, Attorney General, K K Venugopal opposed the same. He said that a probe was already underway. The FIRs have been filed and the process is still on, he also said. However, the petitioner insisted that that court seek a report from the government. This is a case where millions of honest are suffering due to the high and mighty, he also said.

The court said that the probe was still on. We will not stand in the way of the government. If the government is not doing its job then it is another matter. We will decide then whether to step in or not, the Bench also said.
