'PK' director Rajkumar Hirani meets with an accident, admitted in ICU: Reports
Mumbai, Aug 11: Popular Bollywood director, known for recently released movie 'PK', Rajkumar Hirani has been hospitalized in Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital. He was admitted in the hospital with fractured chin after he fell down from a bike.
Doctor
has
said
that
there
is
no
need
to
worry
though
a
surgery
needs
to
be
done.
"Director
Hirani
will
be
operated
on
and
has
no
life-threatening
injuries",
doctor
Jalil
Parker
who
is
treating
Hirani
was
quoted
by
a
daily.
The accident happened when 'Munnabhai series', 3 Idiot director and his team were working in their studio at Pali Hill, Bandra. Hirani was trying to ride friend's new bike Royal Enfield Bullet when it skidded leaving him injured.
Director was found bleeding in his ear when he was admitted in the hospital by the colleagues.
Rajkumar Hirani has given several hit movies along with producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
