Bengaluru, Dec 16: Demonetisation was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the 8th of November. Post demonetisation Income Tax department and police have been conducting raids at various places and has seized crores of Rupees in old and new currency notes.
The 500 plus searches conducted at various places across India has ensured I-T department netted close to Rupees 3000 crore.
