Pema Khandu to take input from people to prepare budget

Khandu assured the people of the commitment of his government for inclusive development and reaching the unreached at the remotest of places

Itanagar, Nov 26: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Friday said the next budget of his government would be a a participatory one taking suggestions and inputs from every sector of the society.

"I will invite all community based organizations for their inputs so that they can highlight their needs which we will incorporate in the budget," he said. He was addressing the first 'Pakke Darshan: Festival of Valleys' to commemorate 50 years of Pakke Kessang administrative division in East Kameng district.

Khandu to take suggestions from people

Khandu assured the people of the commitment of his government for inclusive development and reaching the unreached at the remotest of places.

The Chief Minister said he has been specifically advised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take along every tribe and section of the society in the path of overall development.

He said that Pakke Kessang as well as East Kameng district would have its due share of developmental projects and emerge as one of the most sought after tourist destination of the state, an official release said here.

Pakke Kessang is one of the less explored destinations in the state comprising of five valleys -- Pakke, Papu, Passa, Seijosa and Dissing-Passo.

Lauding the leaders and intellectuals of Pakke Valley for conceptualizing the festival, Khandu asserted that the initiative would give a fillip to the state's effort to attract tourists from across the country.
