Patna, Nov 25: The employees of 102 ambulance service held a protest in front of Vidhan Sabha here on Friday seeking permanent jobs.
"I am working since Feb 2014, still have no appointment letter. Why are we on contract basis?We demand permanent jobs,"a protesting 102 ambulance employee was quoted as saying.
More than 500 ambulances of 102 service (for taking patients to primary health centres to government district hospitals), have been deployed across the state for the convenience of the public.
Employees of 102 ambulance service had also launched strike in past demanding regularization of their services and payment of their pending salaries. 102 offers free ambulance service across the state.
