Passenger opens emergency chute of IndiGo aircraft before take off

New Delhi, Feb 10: A major security breach was reported on Friday when a passenger opened the safety door right before the Indigo flight was supposed to take off, resulting in the aircraft's departure getting delayed. The flight was travelling from Mumbai to Chandigarh.

Passenger opens safety door of flight

The flight has been identified as 6E 4134 and the passenger was handed over to security staff and CISF at Mumbai airport. Meanwhile,an FIR has been lodged against the passenger and have reported the matter to local authorities.

Similar incident of security breach was earlier reported in Aprile 2016, when a passenger Tilak Raj flew from Srinagar to Delhi on flight 6E-436 using a boarding pass under the name of Vimal Kumar.

On Thursday, a GoAir plane flying over Delhi's Najafgarh area had reportedly caught fire after which it was forced to make an emergency landing.
