Ola charged this man Rs 149 crore on April 1 - for a cancelled trip!
Though he has said that he holds no grudges and continues to use the Ola app.
April Fool's day will now forever be memorable for Sushil Narsian, a Mumbai resident. Narsian, who booked a cab on April 1 from the Mulund west suburb to Vakola market locality (a 300-metre distance), was in for an unpleasant surprise.
After he booked the cab, the driver couldn't locate his house, so Narsian came out of his house and tried to locate the driver. But by the time he reached the pickup point, the driver had cancelled the ride.
A little disgruntled, Narsian tried to book another ride, but was unable to do so. The reason? According to the app, he had an outstanding amount of Rs 149 crore! To add to injury, the cab company also deducted the Rs 127 he already had in his mobile wallet!
Well obviously, he wasn't going to let this one go easily, so Narsian took to Twitter and Facebook to let Ola know what happened.
For a ride that didn't come to location specified, driver did not takeppen the door, I'm charged and how! Jai ho @Olacabs. Riding Uber now pic.twitter.com/SIOAFzs77g

The cab company was quick to respond and explained that it was a glitch in the app. They also refunded his Rs 127.
@SushilNarsian Thanks for pointing out the glitch, Sushil. We've corrected the issue at our end.
