Now, SP calls airlines banning Ravindra Gaikwad as dadagiri

The 57-year-old MP had on Thursday allegedly abused and assaulted a 60-year-old duty manager of Air India with slippers for not being able to fly business class.

Agarwal said in Rajya Sabha said that airlines banning MP Ravindra Gaikwad, just goes to show then airline's dadagiri (bullying).

He said,''Ravindra Gaikwad has not been proven guilty. How can he be banned? This is strong-arm tactics of airlines".

Meanwhile, Shiv Sena gave a shutdown call in Osmanabad in support of Ravindra Gaikwad.

Earlier on Monday, Anandrao Adsul of the Shiv Sena said, "All airlines banning him (Gaikwad) is not right, will raise it in both houses and in zero hour too".

The Finance Bill, 2017, The Appropriation (Railways) Bill, 2017 and The Appropriation (Railways) Number 2 Bill, 2017 will be tabled in the Rajya Sabha for consideration and return.
