After complaint by Muslim youth from Hyderabad, fringe outfit Raza academy on Wednesday demanded the removal of Prophet Muhammad's wife name from internet sensation Priya Prakash Varrier's song which has gone viral.
Saeed Noori, Raza Academy, told a private TV channel, "The song insults Muslims of India. Islam does not approve use of Prophet Muhammad's wife name in the song. We urge producers to remove the song." The academy threatened nationwide agitation against the movie.

Hyderabad: Case registered against song featuring internet sensation Priya Prakash
Earlier, a group of Muslim youth from Hyderabad filed a complaint at Falaknuma Police Station against internet sensation Priya Prakash Varrier and the makers of the song 'Manikya Malaraya Poovi' from 'Oru Adaar Love' for allegedly hurting their sentiments.
According to TV reports, in the written complaint, the youth filed complaint against the song featuring Priya for hurting the sentiments of Muslim community. However, the complaint says nothing against the actress. The report says that 'Manikya Malaraya Poovi', when translated into English, insults the Prophet.
