Now, Rahul gives challenge to Modi, says reduce fuel prices or expect nationwide protests
After Narendra Modi accepted a fitness challenge, Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday openly challenged PM on Twitter to reduce fuel prices in the country, considering the steep 11th hike in a row.
Taking to Twitter, Gandhi said,"Dear PM, Glad to see you accept the @imVkohli fitness challenge. Here's one from me: Reduce Fuel prices or the Congress will do a nationwide agitation and force you to do so. I look forward to your response. #FuelChallenge. (sic)"

Earlier in the day, Modi had accepted Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli's fitness challenge on Twitter.
"Challenge accepted, Virat! I will be sharing my own #FitnessChallenge video soon. @imVkohli #HumFitTohIndiaFit," the prime minister tweeted.
Kohli, had challenged PM Modi to take up a fitness challenge, along with wife and actress Anushka Sharma and fellow cricketer MS Dhoni.
Petrol and diesel prices continue to soar in the country and touched another peak on May 24. The price of petrol was hiked by 26 paise to Rs 85.29 per litre in Mumbai.
