Not in this life: Kejriwal turns down Ashutosh's resignation
New Delhi, Aug 15: Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party president Arvind Kejriwal said on Wednesday that he will not accept party leader Ashutosh's resignation.
Taking to Twitter, the AAP Chief said, "How can we ever accept ur resignation? No, not in this lifetime. (Na, is janam mein to nahin.)"
Announcing his resignation in a tweet, the leader said: "Every journey has an end. My association with AAP which was beautiful/revolutionary also has an end. I have resigned from the PARTY/requested PAC to accept the same," he wrote on Twitter.
Ashutosh ends AAP innings, cites personal reason for resignation
"It is purely from a very very personal reason. Thanks to party/all of them who supported me throughout," he added, requesting media to respect his privacy.
AAP Delhi convenor and Delhi Minister Gopal Rai said Ashutosh's decision was unfortunate and that they would meet to discuss it.

The 53 year old had left journalism in 2014 to join AAP.
