No problem if demonitisation affects my film says Aamir Khan


New Delhi, Nov 12: Aamir Khan was among the latest to back Prime Minister, Narendra Modi's initiative to demonetise Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes. The actor termed it as a fight black money.

Khan described the problem as a short term one even as people waited outside banks and ATMs in large numbers. What people are facing is a short term problem I've no problem even if it affects my film," ANI quoted Aamir as saying.

Aamir Khan supports demonitisation

Khan is gearing up for the release of his movie Dangal in which he plays a former wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat. The movie is slated for release on December 23.

The demonitisation issue has had mixed reactions among the public. While many hail the decision as a long term fight against black money and fake currency, others have been complaining about the inconvenience it has been causing to the general public.
