The NIA which questioned Singh has summoned Madan Gopal to Delhi. Madan will be questioned about the sequence of events that took place that night. It has been alleged by Singh that he was abducted by the terrorists, but was let off later. His vehicle was stolen and it is believed that it had been used by the terrorists to enter the air force station.
Meanwhile the NIA today questioned Singh. He is being questioned for the second time by the NIA as the agency found his answers to be contradictory in nature.
The NIA has sought answers from the SP as to what he was doing at the Indo-Pak border so late in the night without security. The investigators are also trying to find out why the terrorists let him go.
Singh had told the NIA that he had gone to a temple to pray on the night that he was abducted. Further he also said that the terrorists let him go because they were unaware that he was a police officer.
