New Year Bonanza: HCL, TCS giving Mercedes, 100% bonus to techies
Bengaluru, Jan 16: Software engineers working with IT companies such as TCS, HCL must be very excited as the companies announced very impressive bonanza for their high performers.
While TCS announced 100 per cent variable allowance payout for employees, HCL Tech recently decided to reward 130 top performing employees with Mercedes cars or all-expenses-paid foreign holidays.
Recently media reports claimed that tech giant Infosys too announced special bonanza for its employees. According to sources, the top IT company of the country would give 100 per cent variable bonus payout for its employees.
N Chandrasekaran, the chief of TCS was quoted as saying, "Based on our progress this quarter, we are well on our way to post industry-leading growth for FY15."
Meanwhile, Chandrasekaran overruled all reports regarding the mass layoff in TCS. He said that the company is in high growth mode and hired significantly, adding that there is no truth to rumours about layoffs.
TCS has been in the news earlier for allegedly laying off a large number of employees. The company maintained that only "non-performers" have been asked to leave and the lay-offs at TCS are no more in number than in the last few years.
