Narendra Modi floats idea of personal sector
Varanasi, Sep 18: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today floated the idea of a 'personal sector' that empowers the individual saying it "can work wonders" for the country as public and private sectors have failed to ensure the required economic development.
"The debate in the country has so far centred around public and private sectors. These two sectors have not been able to ensure growth at the rate that was required. I want to introduce a third idea which is personal sector.
Addressing a public meeting here after inaugurating a number of projects relating to power, road and health sectors, Modi said that the entire world was looking at India with 'pride and hope' which presented the country with tremendous opportunity.

"More than half of the country's population is below the age of 35 and with our government's emphasis on skill development, the personal sector can work wonders for country's economy," he said.
Modi, who met a delegation representing two lakh contractual teachers of Uttar Pradesh whose regularisation of service by the Samajwadi Party government in the state was recently quashed by the Allahabad High Court, assured them that he will take personal interest in matter of 'Sikhsha Mitras'.
He urged the aggrieved teaching professionals not to give up or think of committing suicide.
