Mysore laboratory submits report on Maggi samples to SC; next hearing on July 19

New Delhi, April 5: Mysuru laboratory on Tuesday, April 5, submitted test report on Maggi samples in a sealed envelope to the Supreme Court.

Nestle told the apex court that Food Department notification concedes no lab test can determine MSG presence.

"MSG occurs naturally, no added MSG is present in Maggi", it further said.

Meanwhile, SC ordered that report should be given to Nestle and Centre for their view. The SC will hear further arguments on test results on July 19th.

On its part, Centre told SC that first report says lead content is within the permissible limits.

Sixteen reports have been submitted so far by the Mysore labs in connection with Maggi.
