Bhopal, July 27: The state of government-run schools across the country is anything but encouraging. Right from poor infrastructure to lack of teachers, government-run schools in both rural and urban areas often highlight the negligence on the part of authorities to improve education system in the country.

In fact, tired by the lackadaisical attitude of the authorities to fix the leaking roofs of their school building, students of the government school in Dindori, Madhya Pradesh on Thursday submitted a memorandum to the district council. Their memorandum was addressed to President Ramnath Kovind.

"During monsoon, water drips from the roof in every classroom. There are no washrooms and it has been like this for many years, please help us," stated the memorandum addressed to the President.

"#MadhyaPradesh: Students of a Govt school in Dindori marched to the District Council & submitted a memorandum addressing President of India, stating,'During monsoon water drips from the roof in every room, there are no washrooms,&its been like this for many years, please help us.'," tweeted ANI.

Now, it needs to be seen whether or not the memorandum of the students reaches the President and he solves their problems. Or else, like every monsoon, in the next rainy season also the students have to sit in their classrooms holding their open umbrellas.
