MP: Girl gang raped for 3 hours, not a ‘filmy story’
The victim was returning home from coaching class at Maharana Pratap Nagar when the incident occurred at around 10 pm on Tuesday.
The Madhya Pradesh police have arrested three of the four men who gang raped a 19 year old Indian Administrative Service aspirant for three hours. Inspector General of Police Makrand Deuskar said that the three accused were arrested and presented before a court. The four one is absconding the police also said.
The arrest came after the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister ordered a probe against the policeman who accused the victim of making up a filmy story. The police filed a complaint in this case only after 11 hours of the same being made.
The victim was returning home from coaching class at Maharana Pratap Nagar when the incident occurred at around 10 pm on Tuesday. The four accused, identified as Golu Bihari, Amar Chhantu, Rajesh, and Ramesh, have been booked under sections 376D (gang rape) and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
The girl's father is with paramilitary and mother is with the state CID. Her parents said police initially denied to file their complaint.
