Martyred soldier’s father appeals to PM Modi to take action against Pak terrorists, Naxals
Father of Captain Ayush Yadav--killed in a terrorist attack in Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir--wants the Centre to take strong action against terrorists and Naxals.
Lucknow, April 28: It's an appeal to Prime Minister Narendra Modi from a father, who has just lost his son fighting against terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.
Arun Kant Yadav, father of 25-year-old Captain Ayush Yadav, who was one of the three army personnel, who were killed in a Fidayeen attack in Kupwara on Thursday, asked the PM to take strong action against terrorists and Naxals, responsible for the killings of so many Indian soldiers in recent times.
"Security personnel have been losing lives in Jammu and Kashmir. Similarly, 25 Central Reserve Police Force jawans were killed in a Naxal attack in Sukma, Chhattisgarh, recently. Please take action. The Centre needs to improve policies," said father of Ayush.
Arun remembered that his wife spoke to their son last on Wednesday. The Yadav family stays in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. "Next day she kept calling him but then he never picked the call," said a teary-eyed Arun.
"It
should
not
happen
to
anyone
else's
child...how
long
will
we
see
our
children
being
killed
like
this,"
he
added.
Arun
revealed
that
he
wanted
his
son
to
get
married
soon.
"I
used
to
tell
my
child,
please
get
married
before
my
retirement,
and
he
used
to
say--
have
you
got
nothing
else
to
talk
about?"
The government policy in Kashmir needs to be more firm, said his father.
"You tie a person to a jeep and there is outrage but what about countless soldiers who are dying," he said, referring to a controversial video of a young man tied to the front of an army jeep as a human shield against stone throwers.
