Man with pistols, stun gun and cartridges held in Delhi
The Delhi police suspect that the weapons were meant to cause violence during the Municipal Corporation of Delhi polls
New Delhi, April 22: The Delhi police on Saturday arrested a man near Nizamuddin Bridge and seized 30 semi-automatic pistols, a stun gun and five live cartridges
According to the police, man was identified as Rajpal had come to Delhi to hand over the weapons to two persons to sell it further.
An inquiry was ordered to find out the source of weapons and people involved in selling them.
The police suspect that these weapons were meant to cause violence during the Municipal Corporation of Delhi polls which are scheduled to be held on April 23.
A case was registered to nab the other two persons who were supposed to take weapons from Rajpal.
