The man who shot dead a dancer at a marriage function in Bhatinda, Punjab, yesterday has been arrested.
The man who shot dead a dancer at a marriage function in Bhatinda, Punjab, yesterday has been arrested.
The shocking incident took place on Sunday when the victim allegedly refused to dance with the man, identified as one Lucky Goel. Goel was under the influence of alcohol when the incident took place.
A case under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code was registered in the matter.
Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal condemned the incident and said firearms should not be allowed inside functions.

As per reports, the victim, identified as Kulwinder, was pregnant and died on the spot after the bullet hit her chest.
