Maggi returns: Sale begins from today after 5 months ban

New Delhi, Nov 9: There is good news for Maggi lover as the Nestle has started selling popular 2 minute noodles from today, five months after it was banned in India, media reported.

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) put a ban on sale of Maggi in June this year after they found dangerously high levels of lead in it.

Maggi back in market

Nestle has partnered with Snapdeal to make Maggi available online during this festive season.

"Nestlé India has conducted over 3500 tests representing over 200 million packs in both national as well as international accredited laboratories for testing and all reports are clear. In addition to these, various countries including US, UK, Singapore, Australia and others have found MAGGI Noodles exported from India safe for consumption," said a statement issued by the company.
